What this is

A complete, checkable guide to one city. Around eight hundred and fifty places across six categories — thermal baths, attractions, restaurants, coffee houses, bars and accommodation — each with its real address, coordinates and, where the venue publishes them, opening hours converted into a form the site can actually evaluate. That is what makes the "open right now" filter work.

Alongside the listings sit the things a listing cannot answer: how the districts are organised, how the bath etiquette works, what the service charge on your bill means, and how to get in from an airport with no metro.

How the listings are built

Place data — names, addresses, coordinates, ratings, opening hours and photographs — is ingested from Google Places and refreshed periodically. Editorial text, category introductions, guides and the practical pages are written by us.

We do not invent facts. Where something is uncertain or changes often — prices above all — the page says how the thing works and points at the operator instead of printing a number that will be wrong within a season.

How this is paid for

Three ways, all of which we would rather state plainly than bury:

1. Affiliate commission on some bookings, tickets and transfers. These links are labelled wherever they appear. They never change your price.
2. Paid placement for venues, always carrying a visible badge, never affecting editorial text.
3. Display advertising on editorial pages.

None of these decides what gets listed or what we say about it. A recommendation the reader cannot distinguish from an advertisement is worth nothing to anyone.
