Before you choose
Analytics loads in Google's Consent Mode v2 with every signal set to *denied*, which means it runs without cookies and cannot identify you. Advertising scripts set no cookies. The only thing stored is your own choice, once you make it.
If you accept
Analytics — Google Analytics, to count visits and see which pages are read. Aggregate; we never look at individuals.
Advertising — Google AdSense, which may use cookies to choose and cap ads. Ads are not loaded at all on the site's tool and legal pages.
Always present
Your consent choice, stored in your browser's local storage under `vb-cookie-consent`. It is what stops the banner reappearing on every page.
Embedded third parties
When a page loads a GetYourGuide widget or a Stay22 map, that provider receives your IP address and may set its own cookies, under its own policy.
Changing your mind
Clear this site's data in your browser and the banner returns, letting you choose again.
